Boxee for PCs, Macs, and devices has just gained an app for the Grooveshark music streaming service, which claims to offer “millions of songs from every genre.”

Grooveshark has two subscription levels. The $6/month subscription eliminates ads for users of desktop and laptop PCs and Macs, while a $9/month subscription is required for smartphones and other “integrated devices.”

Unfortunately, the Grooveshark Boxee app is classified as an “integrated device” scenario, so it requires the $9/month subscription level. However, you can try the app free for 14-days or 50 songs (whichever comes first), before deciding whether it’s worth subscribing.
