Free IntelliDrive Safety Workshop

The U.S. DOT’s Intelligent Transportation Systems Joint Program Office (ITS-JPO) will hold a free workshop later this month, at which IntelliDrive Safety program research roadmaps — including applications, technical, and policy activities — will be presented and discussed. There is no charge for attending the three-day event in Chicago July 20-22, and a free webinar and phone conference are also available.

Note: Subsequent to the initial publication of this article, the US-DOT ceased using the name “Intellidrive” for its Connected Vehicle Research program


 
“Safety is critical to the mission of the transportation industry,” says ITS-JPO in its announcement of the workshop. “This workshop is intended as an opportunity for stakeholders to review and provide feedback for refinement on the safety program roadmaps, including technical and policy issues.”
