Overcoming electric car “range anxiety”

“Electric cars are a big part of California’s plans to reduce greenhouse gas emissions,” says KQED Public Radio. “That is, if drivers can overcome so-called ‘range anxiety’ — the fear of being stranded in an electric car because the battery has run out. With Nissan and Chevy getting ready to release their new plug-in vehicles, we search for a charge.”
