The top-end NTV300SL model (aka NTV300 Max) includes a built-in app for streaming multimedia from DLNA devices on your local network, and from USB media connected to the box’s USB port. The screenshots below show us streaming a movie from a DLNA server (a modified PogoPlug device) on our LAN…

Another unique feature of the top-end NTV300SL model (aka “NTV300 Max”) is that you can stream to it via DLNA, and can even stream from a DLNA server to the NTV300SL using a DLNA control point to manage the entire process. To prepare the NTV300SL for receiving DLNA streams under remote control, you need to enable the feature by running the DLNA app on the NTV300SL. The screenshots below show us streaming a video from our modified PogoPlug device (acting as a DLNA media server) to the NTV300SL (acting as a DLNA renderer), under the control of an Android tablet running BubbleUPnP (acting as the DLNA control point)…

By adding a Flingo bookmarklet to your desktop or mobile PC’s browser, you can “fling” YouTube, Vimeo, and CrunchyRoll videos to a queue in the NTV300’s Flingo channel for watching on your TV.
