Boxee Box price drops to $180

D-Link appears to have reduced the suggested retail price of the Boxee Box from $200 to $180, possibly due to pressure from Roku’s sub-$100 device and Logitech’s price-slashed ($99) Google TV player.

New Roku players add gaming, subtract power

Roku has just refreshed its popular family of streaming media players, adding a model with an enhanced remote control for playing “casual games,” and slashing the devices’ typical power consumption to less than 2 watts.
