According to Boston Business Journal’s coverage, the state’s Department of Energy Resources is now accepting applications from localities interested in installing the charging stations in their communities.
The $200,000 funding, reportedly connected with a “settlement over alleged pollution control equipment violations at 11 power plants operated by an Ohio-based firm, American Electric Power Service Corp. or its affiliates,” could cover as many as 100 EV charging stations.
