Electrified Nissans drive from Denmark to Shanghai

No, this isn’t about the Nissan Leaf. Rather, a group of Danish drivers has successfully driven a pair of Nissan Qashqai crossover SUVs, modified to function as electric vehicles, from Copenhagen to Shanghai. It’s all part of the “Moto Mundo Electric World Tour.”

Mitsubishi Motors has begun producing the European-specific version of its i-MiEV electric vehicle. Although Mitsubishi has already been selling the Japanese version of the i-MiEV for about a year, this marks the first first “full-fledged” export of the company’s compact EV.
Mercedes-Benz Japan has begun testing the electric version of its compact Smart car on Japanese roads, according to several sources.
